West Terminal: Originally built in 1979 as an overflow freezer storage space for Maritime Terminal, the West division was just under a half million cubic feet of racked storage space. In 2001 West Terminal added an additional 1.5 million cubic feet of freezer storage capacity to the warehouse. Computer controlled Ammonia refrigeration systems are used to regulate temperature from -20 to +38 degrees fahrenheit. West Terminal employs 24 hour alarm monitoring of security, temperature, refrigration, and fire.
